Big Pigs

The pigs are coming along well, and they are growing bigger than ever. They are now eating 3 kilos of food a day, not including all the greens and food scraps people are feeding them! They have contracted lice, however, and this Wednesday I will buy some lice-killer for dogs and wash them down with it! The fence is holding up nicely - they have not escaped once since the new generator was put in, and after these recent rains the earth is moist and the pigs are rooting around and digging holes. I think they are extremely happy.

School Trip

Last week my classmates and a few teachers came along to visit the pigs. I felt a bit like a zoo-keeper doing a tour of the zoo, or a lion-tamer with pigs not lions. Everyone seemed happy to see them and interact with them!
